Rectangles.2

A looser take on Rothko, this is joyful and rich in colour and life. Gold heavily applied and bright acrylic inks run, skip and hop over the surface to create a playful and energetic piece. Rectangles of pink and blue with a larger orange rectangle wash at the base. Visible brush strokes and roller used create textures. Gloss varnish coats x 3 for a slick finish.
